P-000122-04 — Full Device Reboot (Clean Boot)

Goal
Clear low-level graphics, driver, and IPC state after resume failure.

Steps
1) Reboot the KDS device or workstation cleanly.
2) Allow full startup (do not rush the KDS app launch).
3) Confirm network is ready before KDS auto-starts.
4) Verify:

  • KDS launches normally
  • Orders render and advance
    5) If still frozen after reboot → proceed to P-000122-05.

Notes

  • This resolves the majority of resume-related freezes.
