← Back

Used for Trouble: T-000032

1) Verify paper roll size and type

  • Confirm paper roll diameter and core size match printer specification
  • Avoid oversized or non-standard rolls
  • Replace with approved paper if unsure

2) Inspect paper-low sensor area

  • Power off printer
  • Open printer cover
  • Locate paper-low or paper-end sensor
  • Remove dust, debris, or paper fragments

3) Check sensor alignment

  • Ensure sensor is not bent or obstructed
  • Confirm paper passes cleanly over sensor path
  • Reseat sensor if adjustable

4) Verify firmware paper threshold settings

  • Access printer configuration menu or utility
  • Check paper-low threshold if configurable
  • Adjust sensitivity if supported

5) Test with a new paper roll

  • Install a fresh roll
  • Print multiple test tickets
  • Observe when paper-low warning triggers

6) Monitor during operation

  • Allow paper roll to run low naturally
  • Confirm printer continues printing until near empty
  • Verify warnings occur at reasonable remaining paper level

7) Escalation check

  • If printer stops too early:
  • Record paper type and roll dimensions
  • Capture printer model and firmware version
  • Escalate to hardware support
