P-000071-03 — Restart Kitchen Display Process on POS Server

Purpose:
Restore stalled or locked kitchen display services at the server level.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the POS server using the operational profile.
  2. Identify the kitchen display process or service.
  3. Stop the kitchen display process cleanly.
  4. Confirm the process has fully stopped.
  5. Restart the kitchen display process.
  6. Watch for startup confirmation or logs indicating success.
  7. Return to the Kitchen Display Screen.
  8. Verify:
    • Existing orders refresh
    • New test order appears correctly

Result:
Server-side kitchen display service resumes normal operation.
