← Back

Used for Trouble: T-000038

1) Identify affected stores and printers

  • Confirm which store should receive the order
  • Identify where the order is actually printing
  • Note order source (POS, CSC, online)

2) Verify store and location IDs

  • Check POS / CSC store ID configuration
  • Confirm IDs are unique per location
  • Correct any mismatched or reused IDs

3) Review printer definitions per store

  • Open printer configuration for each store
  • Ensure printers are defined locally, not shared
  • Remove references to printers from other locations

4) Verify IP addresses and hostnames

  • Confirm each printer has a unique IP
  • Avoid reusing IPs across stores
  • Verify hostnames resolve correctly per location

5) Check application routing tables

  • Review order routing or dispatch rules
  • Confirm orders are mapped to the correct store context
  • Correct any cross-store routing entries

6) Clear cached configuration

  • Restart POS / CSC application services
  • Clear any cached routing or printer data
  • Reboot systems if required to force reload

7) Test controlled orders

  • Send test orders from CSC to specific stores
  • Confirm each prints only at its intended location
  • Repeat for multiple order types

8) Escalation check

  • If cross-store printing continues:
  • Capture store IDs, printer IPs, and routing rules
  • Review recent configuration changes
  • Escalate to application or systems support
