Purpose:
Restore stalled or locked kitchen display services at the server level.
Steps:
- Log in to the POS server using the operational profile.
- Identify the kitchen display process or service.
- Stop the kitchen display process cleanly.
- Confirm the process has fully stopped.
- Restart the kitchen display process.
- Watch for startup confirmation or logs indicating success.
- Return to the Kitchen Display Screen.
- Verify:
• Existing orders refresh
• New test order appears correctly
Result:
Server-side kitchen display service resumes normal operation.
