Purpose:
Ensure the Kitchen Display Screen and POS server clocks are synchronized, preventing stale or rejected order data.

Steps:

1. Check the system date and time on the Kitchen Display Screen.
2. Check the system date and time on the POS server.
3. Confirm:
   • Date is correct
   • Time is correct
   • Time zone matches on both systems
4. If time is incorrect on the Kitchen Display Screen:
   • Correct the date/time
   • Reboot the screen if required
5. If time is incorrect on the POS server:
   • Correct the system clock
   • Restart the kitchen display process
6. Relaunch the kitchen display application.
7. Verify new orders now appear and update in real time.

Result:
Time-aligned systems allow proper order flow and display updates.
