P-000072-03 — Restart Kitchen Display Process on POS Server

Purpose:
Clear duplicated or replayed order events at the server level.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the POS server using the operational profile.
  2. Identify the kitchen display process.
  3. Stop the kitchen display process.
  4. Confirm the process is no longer running.
  5. Restart the kitchen display process.
  6. Return to the Kitchen Display Screen.
  7. Send one test order.
  8. Confirm only a single instance appears.

Result:
Server-side order queue is reset.
