P-000074-05 — Replace Touch Hardware or Escalate

Purpose:
Resolve persistent touch failure caused by hardware fault.

Steps:

  1. Connect a known-good touch screen if available.
  2. Test touch input with alternate hardware.
  3. If touch works on alternate screen:
    • Mark original touch hardware as faulty
  4. If touch still fails:
    • Escalate for driver or system investigation
  5. Document:
    • Affected screen
    • Duration of failure
    • Steps attempted

Result:
Faulty touch hardware identified or escalation initiated.

Close Condition:
If resolved, mark T-000074 closed.
If escalated, track under hardware service follow-up.
