Purpose:
Resolve persistent touch failure caused by hardware fault.
Steps:
- Connect a known-good touch screen if available.
- Test touch input with alternate hardware.
- If touch works on alternate screen:
• Mark original touch hardware as faulty - If touch still fails:
• Escalate for driver or system investigation - Document:
• Affected screen
• Duration of failure
• Steps attempted
Result:
Faulty touch hardware identified or escalation initiated.
Close Condition:
If resolved, mark T-000074 closed.
If escalated, track under hardware service follow-up.
