P-000121-03 — Soft Restart the KDS App Session (No Reboot)

Goal
Restart only the KDS application session to reattach the live feed.

Steps
1) Exit KDS application cleanly (use app menu if available).
2) Wait 10 seconds (allow sockets/locks to release).
3) Relaunch KDS application.
4) Confirm the KDS reconnects and the queue repaints:

  • New orders appear
  • Old orders re-sync correctly
    5) If still stuck → proceed to P-000121-04.

Notes

  • This is the best first “real fix” because it resets the feed without rebooting the device.
