Goal
Reset the live feed / handler layer without rebooting the whole machine.
Steps
1) Identify whether KDS is:
- A dedicated KDS device (restart its KDS service/app stack), OR
- A shared store server component feeding multiple screens (restart only KDS-related services).
2) Restart only the KDS service layer (do NOT reboot everything unless required).
3) After restart, verify: - KDS reconnects
- New orders render
- Multiple screens (if present) all repaint correctly
4) If still failing → proceed to P-000121-05.
Escalation Trigger
- If multiple KDS stations are all stuck after service restart, suspect version mismatch or upstream feed issue.
