Goal
Reduce recurrence of resume-induced freezes.
Steps
1) Disable sleep / power-save on KDS devices where possible.
2) Prevent displays from entering deep sleep modes.
3) Ensure KDS auto-start is delayed until network is ready.
4) If supported, enable watchdog to restart KDS after resume.
5) Document:
- Device type
- Display model
- Frequency of power events
6) If freezes repeat on same hardware → flag device for replacement or reimage.

- Date/time of power loss
- Whether reboot was required
- Device model
- KDS version/build
