P-000123-01 — Confirm True Delay vs Perceived Delay

Goal
Determine whether orders are actually delayed in delivery to KDS or only appear late.

Steps
1) Identify a sample of affected orders.
2) Compare timestamps:

  • Order creation time (POS / call center / order log)
  • Time order appeared on KDS
    3) Ask kitchen staff:
  • Did multiple orders appear at once?
  • Or did they appear gradually but were only noticed later?
    4) If timestamps confirm late arrival → proceed to P-000123-02.
    5) If timestamps are normal → treat as visibility / workflow issue (different Trouble).

Pass/Fail

  • PASS: Orders genuinely arrived late to KDS.
  • FAIL: Orders arrived on time but were unnoticed.
