P-000123-04 — Check Time Sync and System Load

Goal
Eliminate time drift and load-related update delays.

Steps
1) Verify system time on:

  • KDS device
  • Store server
    2) Correct any drift (manual sync or NTP restart).
    3) Check for signs of load:
  • Slow UI response
  • Audio/visual lag
    4) If load is high:
  • Restart KDS services
  • Reduce background tasks
    5) Retest with new orders.
    6) If still delayed → proceed to P-000123-05.

Notes

  • Time drift exaggerates perceived lag even when data is correct.
