Goal
Eliminate time drift and load-related update delays.
Steps
1) Verify system time on:
- KDS device
- Store server
2) Correct any drift (manual sync or NTP restart).
3) Check for signs of load: - Slow UI response
- Audio/visual lag
4) If load is high: - Restart KDS services
- Reduce background tasks
5) Retest with new orders.
6) If still delayed → proceed to P-000123-05.
Notes
- Time drift exaggerates perceived lag even when data is correct.
