Goal
Detect silent fallback to poll/backfill or payload incompatibility.

Steps
1) Confirm KDS version matches store server feed version.
2) Check whether KDS is configured for:

• Live push mode (preferred), or
• Polling / batch mode (fallback)
  3) Align versions and settings across all KDS stations.
  4) Restart KDS services after alignment.
  5) Monitor during next peak period.

• Delay duration observed
• Network events during delay
• KDS version/build
• Whether burst occurred on one or all stations
