Goal
Ensure the “duplicate” is not actually a new, modified, or resent order.
Steps
1) Compare order identifiers:
- Order ID
- Check number
- Timestamp
2) Confirm whether the reappearing order: - Has the exact same ID, or
- Has a new ID with similar items
3) If IDs differ → stop; this is not a duplication issue.
4) If IDs match → proceed to P-000124-02.
Pass/Fail
- PASS: Same order ID duplicated or reappeared.
- FAIL: New order (different Trouble).
