Goal
Determine whether hardware is undersized for demand.
Steps
1) Identify KDS device specs:
- CPU
- RAM
- Storage type
2) Compare against observed peak volume.
3) If device is borderline: - Reduce screen complexity, OR
- Split workload across more KDS stations.
4) If hardware is adequate → proceed to P-000125-05.
Escalation Trigger
- Repeated peak lag on capable hardware suggests software inefficiency.
