Goal
Prevent network devices from silently dropping idle connections.
Steps
1) Identify network path:
- Wi-Fi AP
- Switch
- Router
2) Check for idle timeout or connection aging settings.
3) Increase idle timeout or enable keepalive if supported.
4) Restart KDS app after network adjustment.
5) Monitor after next idle window.
6) If stalls continue → proceed to P-000127-05.
Escalation Trigger
- Repeated idle stalls across multiple devices indicate upstream keepalive issue.
