Goal
Determine how the system treats a paused station.
Steps
1) Review station configuration:
- Is “pause” defined as temporary hold, or full opt-out?
2) Check whether paused stations are expected to: - Receive backlog on resume, OR
- Ignore orders placed during pause
3) If configuration is wrong: - Correct semantics
- Restart KDS app
4) Retest by pausing briefly, placing an order, then resuming.
5) If semantics are correct → proceed to P-000139-04.
Notes
- Some systems require explicit “catch-up” on resume.
