Goal
Correlate the mismatch to a triggering event.

Steps
1) Ask staff whether any of the following occurred recently:

• Rapid bumping during peak
• Restart or reconnect
• Station pause/unpause
  2) Note approximate time counts became wrong.
  3) If a trigger is identified → proceed to P-000141-03.
  4) If no trigger known → proceed anyway (rebuild needed).

Notes

• Counter drift often begins at a transition boundary.
