Goal
Reduce future lost-in-gap scenarios and capture data for escalation.
Steps
1) After any outage or reconnect storm:
- Cross-check POS vs KDS for a short window.
2) Prefer full service restart over partial restarts after outages.
3) If supported, enable: - Snapshot + recent-history replay on client join
4) Document gap incident: - Order IDs missing
- Disruption window
- Restart sequence used
5) Escalate as a critical reliability issue if gaps repeat.
