1) Verify ticket template structure

  • Open POS / CSC ticket or receipt template
  • Confirm header and footer sections exist
  • Ensure sections are enabled and not hidden

2) Check header and footer field mappings

  • Verify store name, date, order number, and totals fields
  • Confirm fields are mapped to correct data sources
  • Reapply mappings if recently changed

3) Confirm correct ticket type selection

  • Verify correct ticket or receipt type is assigned
  • Ensure application is not using a simplified or fallback template
  • Correct assignment if mismatched

4) Review printer profile capabilities

  • Confirm printer profile supports headers and footers
  • Avoid minimal or raw profiles that suppress sections
  • Switch to standard profile if needed

5) Check for recent updates or resets

  • Identify recent application or configuration updates
  • Reapply known-good templates if reset occurred
  • Restart services after restoring templates

6) Test with sample prints

  • Print test tickets
  • Confirm header and footer appear correctly
  • Verify consistency across multiple prints

7) Escalation check

  • If header or footer still missing:
  • Capture sample output
  • Review template and profile configuration
  • Escalate to application support
