1) Check application resend settings

  • Open POS / CSC configuration
  • Disable automatic resend or recovery reprint options
  • Confirm no manual resend rules are enabled

2) Inspect print queue behavior

  • Open printer queue
  • Cancel duplicate or repeating jobs
  • Verify jobs do not reappear after deletion

3) Verify single printer definition

  • Confirm only one printer instance exists in Windows
  • Remove duplicate printers pointing to the same device/IP
  • Ensure application targets only one printer name

4) Check spooler restart effects

  • Restart Windows Print Spooler
  • Observe whether old jobs are reissued
  • Clear spooler cache if jobs persist

5) Review network stability

  • Ping printer IP for drops or timeouts
  • Check switch ports and cabling
  • Resolve intermittent connectivity issues

6) Test controlled order

  • Send one test order
  • Confirm exactly one ticket prints
  • Wait several minutes to ensure no delayed duplicates

7) Escalation check

  • If duplicates continue:
  • Review application logs for retry events
  • Check for failover or recovery logic
  • Escalate to application or syst
